ABC's hit show, Modern Family, is ending. The network announced that it has renewed the series for an eleventh and final season.
Modern Family has become our go-to show for those "all these channels and nothing's on" nights. We can usually find an episode of Modern Family to watch... much like we've done with Fraiser and Seinfeld. And even though it's ending, with 11 seasons there will still be a lot of Modern Family on TV.
Modern Family first premiered in 2009, and made waves with its portrayal of blended families and same-sex partners. It has picked up 21 Primetime Emmy Awards, multiple Screen Actors Guild Awards and a Peabody.
Show star Jesse Tyler Ferguson wrote on social media yesterday that he loves his family, and it will be hard to say goodbye.
Along with the news about Modern Family's final season comes speculation about possible spinoffs...
