Boy George Wants This 'Game of Thrones' Star to Play Him in a New Biopic

Following the success of Bohemian Rhapsody and now Rocketman, another major musical biopic was recently announced. The new MGM film will follow the life of Boy George from his childhood in southeast London through his rise to fame and chart-topping success as the frontman in Culture Club. Director Sacha Gervasi doesn't have a cast yet, but Boy George has his own ideas.

In a story on Vogue UK, the singer suggested a star from Game of Thrones to play him on screen. As he explained: "One of the most interesting suggestions was Sophie Turner. [People will say] ‘she can’t play you she’s a woman,’ you know. But when I was 17, I would have loved to have been her."

Sophie Turner is totally on board, tweeting: "I'm SO down @BoyGeorge."

It would be quite a story if Sophie Turner is actually cast as Boy George. But I can see the resemblance, and in fact, people have been noticing their similarities for at least five years. So why not? She's already halfway to the role with the resemblance. When the casting call comes, Sophie Turner may want to be there.

There's no word yet on when we can expect to see the movie in theaters. But if it's half as good as Rocketman, I'll be getting tickets to see it.
