She Cared For Her Plant For 2 Years, Then Found Out It's Fake!

A California woman who had been taking care of a succulent has found out two years later it's fake. 

Caelie Wilkes posted on her Facebook page that she nurtured the plant for two years, watering it and leaving it by her kitchen window to get sunlight. 

Last week, Wilkes took it out of its original container to put it in a new vase and found out it was fake. "I feel like these last two years have been a lie"

So why on earth would anyone post about something like this? I wore mismatched boots this week and all I could think about was getting home before anyone said anything. There was no way I was going to post it.

So why did she? Not sure her motivation, but the post DID get her international attention. And, when Home Depot saw her post, the company sent her several real succulents. 

So now she has a real plant to take care of. Maybe it was worth it?
