Drive-Thru Haunted Houses & Drive-Into "Stranger Things"

Drive-thru haunted houses are popping up all over for this Halloween.

The idea, of course, is to still have our Halloween fun from a safe social distance.

But how safe can that be?

It's one thing to have the drive-thru light show "Thriller Nights of Lights" at Hank Aaron Stadium.... that's a concept that's worked well for several years and should be perfect fun for 2020.

But no one's trying to scare you when you're driving through the light show. It's just lights synchronized to music.

Imagine someone jumping out of the bushes when your foot is on the accelerator. Sounds like the perfect recipe for a Halloween disaster, doesn't it? (Even if you're supposed to be in park, I'm not so sure about this!)

Oh, and speaking of drive-thru scares... "Stranger Things" is opening one in Los Angeles.

This October the hit Netflix series will be bringing a "drive-into" experience to downtown Los Angeles, where fans can experience the sights and sounds of the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana from their own car. The 60-plus-minute-long journey will take visitors on a tour through Starcourt Mall, the Russian labs, and the Upside Down with their favorite "Stranger Things" characters.
